Problems With The Decline of Marriage

1. Single people have no reason to protect family values. A married woman is much more likely to disapprove of inappropriate billboard advertisements. She doesn’t want her children to see them. A single woman may just consider it nice, cool, or attractive. The same goes for men who are fathers vs unmarried men.

2. Married men with a family have an incentive to keep society moral, virtuous, and free of crimes because they want their children to grow up in a safe and supporting environment. They wouldn’t want the market to collapse so their children don’t live in poverty one day. Single men have noting invested in society. Society can become the Church of Satan and they wouldn’t mind. The same goes for women.

3. For those who feel disenfranchised, they have no reason to protect society. There were times when men used to go to war to protect their wives and children. Today, most of them have no wives and no children. If a war breaks out in modernity, they would simply let the women die. And you can’t blame them for that. They were invisible to women anyway.

Don't even get me started on how bad life gets for children born to single parents.
